What actually is Argos WaterWalls (WW)?

A special designed bag made of rubberized fabric and equipped with flanges, which enables the WW to be filled with water and emptied after each use. The textile inlay is made of high-strength PES fabric and is covered with a rubber spread on both sides. The rubber (EPDM) can withstand long-term weather conditions, relating to the Ozone, UV Radiation and each bag has good resistance to abrasion and are easy to install.
The standard WW segment can replace 250 sand bags. WW's segments comes in 2, 3, 4, 5 meters in length and can also be adjusted to the dimensions required by customers.
How to use the WW?
Separate segments of the WW's can be connected together to build a wall of a desired length in high risk areas, and can then be filled with water.
With thrifty kind of flood protection, which requires no intervention before or after the use (in contrast to the classical way i.e. disposal of wet sand, gravel, earth etc).
Logistics
It usually takes two persons to install Argos WW without any problems. The product has a long life span and has many uses i.e. protection of streets during a flood, protection of house entrances, helps to protect the rising rivers at river banks, should building work be necessary in rivers these WW's can be used also for storage of waste water after decontamination, or used for oil booms / oil barriers.
Technical Information
Argos WW's are produced in three types: Type A, Type B, and Type C.
Type A:
Designed for heightening of banks of water streams, wall off streets from floods. These WW's are self supporting.
Type B:
Designed for the protection of entrance of buildings, doors and low windows of buildings. WW can also be used to temporarily dam or catch the water stream.
Type C:
Designed were heights of water levels are a factor in high risk areas.
